At 68 feet, they are the biggest one design boats on the Great
Lakes. When Dick Jennings brought Pied Piper, the first of these boats,
to the Chicago-Mac Race in 1987, he broke the previous speed record by
over 5 hours. Twenty years later, his son, Jack, at the age of 27,
takes the helm & goes out to face the other nine great boats,
skippers & crews who comprise the GL70 Sailing Association.
